During the summer of 2006 and 2007 several K-12 teachers were given the opportunity to explore Guatemalan schools in cooperation with Adams State College and the Universidad Del Valle De Guatemala. Primarily from the San Luis Valley, these teachers not only painted school houses but provided hands-on teaching for Guatemalan teachers and parents.
